How to choose video length and resolution on Playground AI

Length and resolution are set before you generate, and both affect how long the generation takes and how many credits it uses.

Steps

1. On the Video Generation page, find the Length and Resolution settings above or next to the prompt bar.

2. Choose a length — shorter clips (4–6s) generate faster and cost fewer credits; longer clips (10s+) take more time and credits.

3. Choose a resolution — standard resolution is faster and cheaper; higher resolution looks better but costs more and takes longer.

4. Click Generate once both are set.

Social media clips — shorter length, standard resolution is usually enough.
Final deliverables or client work — higher resolution is worth the extra time and credits.
Testing a prompt — keep both short and low, then re-run at full settings once the prompt is right.

You can't change length or resolution after generating — if you need a different version, you'll need to regenerate with new settings.
