How to export a video on Playground AI

Once a video is generated, exporting it is quick — but a few settings determine the file you get.

Steps

1. Open the finished video from your generation history or the results panel.

2. Click Export (or the download icon next to the video).

3. Choose a format — MP4 is the default and works almost everywhere; check if other formats are offered for your use case.

4. Choose a resolution for export — this can be lower than the generation resolution if you want a smaller file.

5. Click Download. The file saves directly to your device.

A few things worth knowing

Exporting doesn't use additional credits — you're only charged when the video is generated, not when you download it.
If you plan to edit the video elsewhere, export at the highest resolution available to avoid re-compressing an already-compressed file.
Exported videos don't include a watermark on paid plans; free-tier exports may include one depending on your plan.

Tip

Re-exporting later? You don't need to regenerate — finished videos stay in your history until you delete them, so you can come back and export again anytime.
