What to do if a generation fails on Playground AI
A failed generation shows a red error banner instead of your image or video, and any credits used are automatically returned to your balance — you're never charged for a failed result.
Common causes
Most failures come down to one of a few things: a prompt that trips the content policy, a temporary server overload during high demand, a network interruption while the request was sending, or an invalid setting combination (like an unsupported aspect ratio for the selected model).
