Understanding credits on Playground AI
Instead of paying per generation, Playground AI uses credits. Every account starts with a free balance, so you can generate right away without adding a card.
The basics
Each image or video you generate spends a small number of credits. Simple images cost the least; longer or higher-resolution videos cost more, since they take more processing.
You're never charged for a failure
If a generation fails or is cancelled, any credits it used are returned to your balance automatically — nothing is lost.
